Resolve issue with Magento site

Magento store started throwing "Class Magento\Braintree\Gateway\Config\Config does not exist" on checkout page. I have tried re-installing braintree_php about 5 times with no luck. I've tried installing/reinstalling the braintree-module but couldn't as conflicted with paypal/braintree-module. I tried removing that but still couldn't install braintree-module - not sure if it is needed but an error in Admin suggested I did.

Look for an experienced Magento developer to jump in and resolve the issues with Braintree please!
