Optimize WooCommerce CPU Usage - 09/12/2025 20:56 EST

Job ID: 40051869

Budget: $30 – $50 USD

My WooCommerce store is sitting at a worryingly high CPU loads when a product is viewed — we are closed shop so very few visitors. This then leads to 500 internal server issues and blank screens. Nothing new has been added in terms of plugins or themes just updates. I need a specialist who can quickly pinpoint what is hogging resources and implement a solid fix without disrupting sales or customer experience.

What I expect from you
• A thorough audit that shows which processes, queries, or plugins are responsible for the constant CPU drain.
• Clear, step-by-step optimizations (database tuning, object caching, code refactoring, light-weight alternatives, etc.) applied directly on the staging site first, then pushed live once confirmed.
• A sensible caching strategy suited to WooCommerce—whether that’s a proven caching plugin configured properly or guidance on server-level solutions—and proof that it reduces CPU usage.
• Final report that compares before/after metrics (CPU %, load average, response time) so I can confidently monitor performance going forward.

You must be comfortable working with typical WordPress toolsets (phpMyAdmin, WP-CLI, Query Monitor, New Relic or similar profiling tools) and liaising briefly with my hosting support if needed.

If this sounds straightforward to you, tell me how you would approach the audit and how long you’ll need to deliver measurable improvements.
