Need someone experienced with ZEN payments and Magento 2 -- 2

Hi we have a payment gateway integrated, when a customer starts checkout, it creates an order and sets the status to "Pending Payment", however when the payment is successful it does redirect to checkout success page, but it doesn't update the order status to "complete" we want to have that fixed
