Budget: $8 – $15 USD

Socal App Solutions is a small software company in South California.
We are looking for a Magento 2 developer to join our team, to develop and maintain Magento 2 Modules, implement front-end and back-end features.

You should be able to add new features to an existing Magento 2 site. I have developed a few custom modules; and want to add new features on them. I have detailed requirements for these custom modules and I am open to suggestions based on your expertise. You will start by working on small tasks. As the contract grows; you have the potential to be the lead developer, and more projects to follow. We like you to be part of our team.

Magento-certified developer preferred; but solid PHP developer with eager to learn are also welcome; I can show you how to work with Magento, or I can write the initial code and you expand on it. Please follow code format; and follow Object Orient Principles.

Github or Gitlab are preferred; but if you prefer another VCS, feel free to suggest. Socal App Solutions appreciate each and every developer; we make every developer feel confident about their own choice.

This job involves working on an existing Magento website; so please be okay working with existing code / legacy code. You will be assigned small tasks, such as adding a new checkout page, editing an email template.

Please spend a few minutes to answer this question:

// $order is a Magento\Sales\Model\Order
$order_items = $order->getAllVisibleItems();
foreach ($order_items as $order_item) {
/** @var \Magento\Catalog\Model\Product $order_item */

How do we get the total dollar value for each $order_item? Please answer in PHP code.
Hint: each $order_item is a product, but it also records how many items were purchased.

Please quote your hourly rates. Looking forward to your applications.

Please remember to answer the above question for your application to be considered.

Thanks
Brian
