Magento 2 - create layered image based on custom options selected

i have magento 2.4 i have a simple product with custom options, i want the correct picture to display based on the combination of custom options selected - so if in option 1 colour Blue is selected and option 2 tall design is selected then i want image shown to be Blue - Tall

this needs to work with layered images so as the user selects various option the main image is built up with layered images of the options
