1. Install http://www.ajourquin.com/magento2/disable-customer-extension/
2. Currently the registration process requires inclusion of date of birth, this doesn't seem to be working correctly and is leading to problems, I suspect its due to the date format. I can update the accounts in the back end with no problems at all. But we need all new customers to be able to register and include their date of birth correctly.
