Magento 2 Single Cart Item Issue

I'm on the lookout for a Magento 2 expert to resolve a specific JS or jQuery library error I'm experiencing on my ecommerce site. The bug affects the adding of products to the cart. Interestingly, the product does get added successfully, but when adding new product the old one gets removed if in a different category
When you add multiple products from the same category, it adds more than one product. However, when you add a product from a different category, the previous products in your cart will be replaced with the new product.
