Magento 2 Simple Product : In and out of stock

In Magento 2 on the product detail page, the customer can select attributes. And thus select a simple product. Due to MSI integration, the saleable quantity has to be taken into account. Meaning when a customer selects a simple product: the customer needs to see if the selected simple product is in stock or out of stock.
