Magento 2 : Products, Tax and Multiple Customer Groups
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Currently all products in our Magento 2 site have prices entered which include VAT @ 20% but due to sales and expansion we now have to adapt things. Happy to export product list and import pricing excluding tax if necessary for ease.
We have a number of Customer Groups set up, ranging from a standard "General" group for B2C and then a number of groups for specific B2B locations and pricing levels.
Situation:
We currently sell predominently B2C, but we want to be able to sell more B2B customers and need to achieve specific displays based on customer group.
Objective:
B2C customers (generically "General" customer group, should see price including VAT in all cases irrespective of country and currency choice.
B2B customers (which can be one of multiple groups due to specific pricing structures) from GB/Northern Ireland should see display Price excluding VAT with VAT added at checkout. Invoice should show VAT summary.
B2B customers from Ireland should see display Price including VAT and no VAT listed at checkout
