Magento 2 Product Import & CSV (Excel) Expert Required to Create 1895 Configurable Products

We are in the middle of upgrading our website To Magento 2. However we are unable to get our current data from our supplier.

However, we have managed to scrape and load in 99% of the simple product data

But now we need to create the Configurable Products.

We have assigned a "Group_ID" attribute to each simple product which allows you LINK which products should be in the same configurable.

Also the SKU naming for simple products that are in the same group are also very similar.

There are about 1895 Configurable products to create based upon unique Group_ID's

Configurable Products will be Size ONLY
The configurable products will be the Item which is setup as Item - Colour with a configurable option of Size ONLY.

Example

Item 1: Mens Green Jacket
Options: S / M / L

Item 2: Mens Yellow Jacket
Options: S / M / L

We have a custom module to show the other colour configurables created which links them already by Group ID.

So we are looking for someone to take our current simple product data & create configurables for these based upon the Group_ID attribute.


You will require expert knowledge of how to create configurable products via CSV upload.
You be require expert knowledge of CSV / Excel data manipulation to merge and lookup data required to create and link the data.
