Magento Developer - Full-Stack
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
The Magento Developer will be responsible for troubleshooting both front end and back end code (web development), and developing custom features, functionality, and integrations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, be able to work both independently and within a team, demonstrate a willingness to learn, and have the ability to produce high-quality code.
Job Duties:
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Write effective APIs
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Create security and data protection settings
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Write technical documentation
Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software
Daily support for tickets (maintenance)
Support for customization of marketplace module
Years of Experience
3 + years of work experience with Magento 2.x as Full Stack Magento Developer, with (Certified Magento Developer is a massive bonus), the multi-vendor marketplace is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, XML, jQuery), JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React & Node.js)
Knowledge of PHP as a back-end language, knowledge of other backend languages will be considered a positive (e.g. C#, Java, Python & Go)
Knowledge of Zend Framework (is a plus)
Developed large scale projects
Good understanding of the Concepts of Object-Oriented Programming
Knowledge of MVC
Experience with (Git/Bitbucket/GitHub) version control, continuous integration workflows and TDD
Experience with Agile development methodologies e.g. Scrum, TDD.
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design
