Implement Magento auto product import/removal solution

I need a dev to work with me to implement a product import/removal solution. This has been tried by a couple devs already. Workflow is as follows. Point of sale system sends two types of files to magento website every 30 minutes. Add.txt and delete.txt. add.txt files are used to add and modify inventory. Delete.txt files are used to remove files. Incoming files are modified and then converted to .csv via custom script and sent to specific folder. From this folder I need a solution. I have Firebear improved import and export but they weren't able to get it to run correctly. I would like to stick with this extension but if its impossible then I don't care what we use.
