Re Design frontend features in Magento 2 Shop

I need someone with experience in Magento design. I have built a new Magento 2 shop and would need some changes to the design and features on the FRONTEND !
I need some icons beside the products that should make easy to identify product type , format etc ...
Shop sells VIRTUAL products so no need to have 1000 images for each product, just ONE image for each and thumbnail should be made based on product format.
So if Product is FORMAT X , then the thumbnail should display FORMAT X , if product is Format X then the thumbnail should display X and so long ... there are about 6 formats available.
Under each product picture should be an ICON or bold text indicating a few attributes like size , color, a, b , c, x y z... to be discussed.
Products should be ALWAYS and by default displayed in LIST format not grid.
Thumbnail of the product should be made minimal as it takes to much space.
Product details should be displayed on the same page as product.

Small changes but the overall design of the page must change so it looks better for DOWNLOADABLE products !
I can eventually buy a theme if needed but I would prefer just to modify existing VERY SIMPLE theme , no need for flashy design.
