Checkout and navigation menu error (Magento 2.0.4)

Need a qualified magento developer to fix the following issue:
1. We didn't receive any successful notification message after submitting the credit card detail on checkout. The page just freeze and not responsive. At the backend we able to receive the purchase order email and payment from customer. However because the page become unresponsive, customer might think the payment is not successful and make second payment again - leading us for unnecessary refund. Need a developer to investigate the problem and to make the payment successful page appear.
2. We have updated our navigation menu however it doesn't reflect on the checkout page. The checkout page menu is still the old menu. Need to make it sync.
