Add dependable checkout custom fields Magento 2+

I am looking for a magento specialist to assist me in adding dependable checkout custom fields to my Magento 2+ site. I require the custom fields to be in the form of dropdown options, and need them to be visible on all pages throughout the checkout process. However, these custom fields should be optional, and not required for the customers to complete the checkout process.
