Repair Magento Storeview Switcher

My Magento site ( www.ocacia.com ) used to let visitors hop seamlessly between the main store and the South-African storeview at sa.ocacia.com. After Cloudways restored the server, the switcher stopped responding, and the SA view now throws a handful of functional errors. The site loads but redirects all the time to the www.ocacia.com store. And does not show the currency for the SA store. Also products are not shown with order anymore.
I need someone who truly knows Magento’s multi-store architecture to:
• bring the Store View switching back to life (language and currency switching were never an issue, it’s only the storeview toggle)
• trace and clear any related errors that appeared after the restore, ensuring both domains load normally and share carts, checkout, and admin settings as before
• document the fix so I can repeat it if a future restore is ever required
