Pick & Packing App
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
we are looking to develop a pick and pack app that will streamline our order fulfillment process for our e-commerce website. The app will be designed to facilitate efficient picking of products for both our existing employees and new hires. It will include a range of features to enhance productivity and accuracy throughout the fulfillment workflow.
Key Features:
User-friendly Interface: The app will have an intuitive and easy-to-use interface, ensuring that both experienced and new employees can quickly navigate and perform their tasks efficiently.
Order Allocation: The app will enable order allocation from a central portal within our Magento 2.4 website. Staff members with appropriate access privileges will be able to assign orders to specific employees, streamlining the distribution of workload.
Real-time Notifications: Once an order is allocated to an employee, the app will send real-time notifications to the assigned staff member, ensuring prompt awareness and action.
Order Details: Upon selecting an order, the app will provide comprehensive order details, including customer information, product SKUs, quantities, and any special instructions, allowing the employee to have all the necessary information at their fingertips.
Barcode Scanning: The app will incorporate barcode scanning functionality, enabling employees to scan product barcodes during the picking process. This feature will ensure accurate identification and reduce errors during order fulfillment.
Product Location Mapping: The app will include a feature that shows the location of products within the warehouse. By accessing this information, employees will be able to efficiently navigate the warehouse and locate the required items.
Verification and Quality Control: After picking all the items for an order, the app will provide a verification step, allowing the employee to cross-check the scanned items against the order details to ensure accuracy and completeness. This step will enhance quality control and minimize errors.
Marking or Skipping Unavailable Products: The app will include a feature that allows employees to mark or skip certain products that are not available in the warehouse. This feature will help manage situations where certain items may be out of stock or temporarily unavailable. The app will provide appropriate prompts and options for the employee to handle such cases, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and facilitating inventory management.
Order Completion: Once all the items are verified and picked, the employee will have the option to mark the order as completed within the app. This status update will trigger notifications to other relevant stakeholders, indicating that the order is ready for packaging and shipping.
Platform Compatibility:
The app will be developed for both Android and iPhone platforms, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices commonly used by our employees.
Integration:
The pick and pack app will seamlessly integrate with our Magento 2.4 website, providing a centralized portal for order allocation and synchronization of order data. This integration will facilitate efficient communication between the app and our existing e-commerce infrastructure.
Thank you
