Magento 2 Upgrade to 2.4.8

I need my current Magento store moved from version 2.3.7-p4 to 2.4.8.
The goal is a smooth, fully tested transition with no loss of data or functionality.
Scope of work
• Prepare a safe staging copy of the site and perform the version upgrade there first.
• Resolve any compatibility issues with existing themes, extensions, and custom code.
• Migrate all configurations, database content, and media files.
• Implement a reliable rollback/backup plan before touching the live store.
• Test core storefront and admin features, payment and shipping methods, and checkout flow to confirm the site runs exactly as it does now—or better—on 2.4.8.
• Deploy to production with minimal downtime and verify everything again post-launch.
• Provide brief documentation of steps taken and any code changes.
