Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 CAD
Our Magento 2 store is several versions behind, recently fell victim to a hack, and now demands urgent attention. I need an experienced Magento specialist who can:
• Bring the core platform fully up-to-date, applying every current security patch and version upgrade without breaking existing functionality.
• Audit and upgrade all installed extensions; where upgrades are unavailable, propose safe alternatives or work-arounds.
• Perform a comprehensive malware scan, remove every malicious file or script, and close whatever vulnerability was exploited.
• Generate a before-and-after security report so I can clearly see what was found and how it was fixed.
Once the codebase is clean and current, I also want to migrate the entire site to a new host. We haven’t chosen one yet, so I need your recommendations. Please outline two or three providers that suit Magento 2, noting their security posture, ease of scaling, and relative performance. After we agree on a host, you’ll handle the migration, DNS changes, SSL configuration, and post-move sanity checks.
If the project goes smoothly, I’ll happily retain you for periodic maintenance and future upgrades, so think of this as the start of a longer collaboration.
