Core goals
• Trim front-end weight by reducing CSS and JavaScript payloads, eliminating render-blocking assets, and tightening critical-path resources.
• Fine-tune caching layers (Magento built-in, Varnish, Redis) so pages consistently serve from cache.
• Optimise CDN routing and asset delivery to cut latency across key regions.
• Diagnose and fix backend bottlenecks—slow queries, heavy cron jobs, inefficient extensions—to improve TTFB and admin responsiveness.
• Introduce or refine new features I’ll outline together once the performance groundwork is solid.
Success criteria
