Magento Apparel Customizer Plugin
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a plug-and-play Magento extension that lets shoppers design and order three apparel lines—custom suits, active wear, and casual wear—directly on our store. Men and women will see only the options that apply to their garment type, so each category requires its own set of fabrics, cuts, trims, and size charts with corresponding price rules.
Scope of work
• Gather detailed requirements with me and translate them into a scalable data model for fabrics, style attributes, and measurement profiles.
• Design an intuitive, mobile-ready UI/UX (the Hockerty page here: https://www.hockerty.com/en/men/custom-suits/personalize is a good benchmark, but I want an even cleaner flow that reflects innovation and best practice). Real-time preview and step-by-step guidance are crucial.
• Build the Magento 2 module—front-end configurator, admin panel to manage options, and back-end logic that recalculates price instantly based on selections.
• Implement separate configuration sets for suits, active wear, and casual wear while sharing global elements such as measurement storage and customer dashboards.
• Provide automated tests, cross-browser QA, and installation documentation.
• Hand over clear technical docs plus a short training session so my team can add fabrics, styles, and promotions without developer help.
Acceptance criteria
1. Extension installs via Composer with no core overrides.
2. A shopper can complete a custom order—from fabric choice to checkout—on desktop and mobile.
3. Admin can create or edit option trees and pricing tiers from the back office.
4. All calculations display in real time and persist to the Magento order.
5. Code passes unit tests and a full regression suite.
If you have experience with complex product configurators or 3D garment previews on Magento, tell me what framework or libraries you prefer so we can lock the tech stack quickly.
