Youth Magazine Layout on Homelessness

Job ID: 40207357

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I have all the copy and most of the photography ready for a new youth-oriented magazine issue that focuses on homelessness as a social issue. What I need now is a layout specialist who can transform these raw assets into a polished, print-ready publication that speaks directly to teens and young adults without losing the gravity of the subject matter.

The job covers complete magazine layout only—cover through back page—built in Adobe InDesign (or a fully compatible alternative). Expect roughly 24–28 pages, with space for feature articles, interviews, pull quotes, sidebars, and a resource directory. I’ll supply the text in Word and images as high-res JPEGs/PNG; you guide me if any additional visuals or illustration placeholders would strengthen the flow.

Key goals
• A clean, contemporary grid that feels accessible to a younger readership.
• Typography and color choices that respect the seriousness of homelessness while still feeling energetic.
• Logical hierarchy: headlines pop, subheads guide, body copy stays legible at small sizes.
• Consistent placement for page numbers, folios, and section openers so future issues keep the same rhythm.

Deliverables
• Packaged InDesign file with linked assets and fonts.
• Print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300 dpi, crop marks, bleeds).
• Web-optimised PDF for sharing online.

I’m happy to review initial sketches or sample spreads before you proceed with the full build. Once approved, we move to final artwork, a quick round of refinements, and hand-off. Looking forward to seeing your take on bringing youth voices and the homelessness conversation together on the page.
