InDesign Magazine Layout Replication
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I need the next issue of our magazine laid out in Adobe InDesign so that it is visually indistinguishable from the last one. You will receive the exact templates, style sheets, and flatplan we used previously; simply drop the new editorial content and images into those frameworks while preserving every typographic and spatial decision already established.
Follow the supplied assets without deviation—fonts, point sizes, colour values, image boxes, folios, everything must remain exactly where and how readers expect to find them. The job is finished when I can overlay your file on the previous issue and see no difference other than the new content. A packaged InDesign file (with links and fonts) is the only deliverable I need back.
I am looking for a freelancer to handle the layout of a magazine in Adobe InDesign.
This is not graphic design. The task is to reproduce the layout exactly as in the previous issue, strictly following the provided templates and style sheets.
Materials provided (everything is ready)
Complete flatplan (chemin de fer) → indicates for each article:
the section it belongs to,
the template to use,
the exact location in the magazine.
InDesign package of the previous issue (with templates and styles already set).
PDF examples of pages already laid out.
Texts and images organized by subject (one folder = one article, with text + images).
All materials necessary to complete the work are provided. I will not answer any questions.
Work required
Layout each article using the template corresponding to its section (as indicated in the flatplan).
Use the provided styles only (no modifications, no improvisation).
Put all quotations in italics.
Always add the photo credits.
Keep the layout as close as possible to the previous issue.
Deliverables: high-resolution PDF + the final .indd file (with linked images and fonts).
Terms
Rate: €1.5 per page, paid after validation of the batch.
Volume: about 60 pages per month.
Availability required:
20% availability during the week of September 8
Full availability from September 15 to 19
Application
No need to send a portfolio or CV.
To apply, simply send a PDF of one subject laid out according to the brief above.
The first PDF that matches the brief will be awarded the job.
Simple, repetitive, fast-paced work. I am looking for someone reliable, fast, and rigorous, who follows instructions exactly.
