Atlanta Dog Magazine Design

I publish a contemporary dog-centric magazine six times a year and need an Atlanta-based graphic designer who can jump in right away. Each issue calls for a classic and elegant look that still feels fresh and engaging to our pet-loving readership.

What I’m looking for
• Cover design – set the visual tone for each issue while staying true to our brand guidelines.
• Full layout design – build repeatable, well-structured templates for features, departments, and editorial spreads so future issues flow smoothly.
• Advertisement design – create eye-catching ads for our local partners that fit seamlessly into the overall aesthetic.

Collaboration & timing
I prefer someone local to Atlanta so we can meet or hop on quick calls when needed; the first assignment is needed ASAP, with subsequent issues following our bi-monthly schedule. You’ll receive finalized copy, photography, and any sponsor assets, then return print-ready files along with packaged source files (InDesign preferred) for each deliverable.

Success means
• A polished, press-ready PDF for the printer plus organized source files.
• Consistent use of typography, margins, and grids that embody a classic, elegant style across all pages.
• Efficient turnaround so the magazine stays on schedule.
