macOS Dock Icon Sizing Specialist Needed

Request for Assistance with macOS Dock Icon Sizing in Xcode
System Details:
• Device: Apple Mac Mini (M1)
• OS: macOS 15.3
• Development Environment: Xcode
• Project Type: Swift-based macOS application
Issue:
I am experiencing inconsistent icon sizing when building my macOS application. I want my app’s Dock icon to match the exact dimensions of default macOS icons, such as Safari, Google Chrome, Finder, the App Store, and 1Password.
Currently, I am able to create and add icons to Xcode without any error messages. However, after building and archiving the project, the Dock icon appears inconsistently—sometimes it is the correct size, while other times it appears too large or too small.
Steps Taken:
• I have tried using icon sizes of 1024x1024 and 2048x2048 but still encounter inconsistencies.
• Icons are generated using Midjourney, Recraft, and Ideogram, then edited to remove backgrounds to ensure transparency.
• I suspect that either a setting in Xcode is being overlooked or the icons need to be saved in a specific format using Pixelmator Pro or another tool.
What I Need:
• Guidance on ensuring that all icons are correctly sized to match Apple’s default Dock icons.
• A repeatable workflow (preferably a script) that:
1. Processes icons with transparent backgrounds.
2. Moves them into the correct Xcode folder along with the necessary JSON file.
3. Ensures that when I build and run my macOS app, the Dock icon consistently appears at the correct size.
If you can help clarify the correct approach, recommend settings, or provide a script to automate this process
