Show me how to convert a webm into a HEVC encode mov with an alpha channel
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I've got an application that uses movie files in webm format with a transparency channel. Unfortunately they won't play on apple devices. What will play on apple devices is a HEVC encoded mov.
I'm wanting someone to explain to me how I can batch convert hundreds of webm files into mov files that will work on an Apple IPad.
Requirements:
- Must retain video quality
- Output resolution same as input resolution
- Output framerate same as input framerate
- Preserve alpha channel
I have a windows PC and a MacBook and I'm not fussy which of these I use.
The ideal solution would be a command line interface to make batching easy. (perhaps ffmpeg)
An application based solution is ok as long as it can process batches of files. One at a time won't be feasible for the number of videos I have.
I've attached 2 files. The webm is a sample of the videos I need to convert. The mov is a sample of the output I need. The move plays in the 'video' element on a web page and has a working alpha channel for transparency.
