Outlook Mac “Suggested Contacts” Exporting Script
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Code/Automation to Export “Suggested Contacts” from Outlook for Mac
Description: I am seeking an experienced developer or Outlook for Mac specialist to create a piece of code or an automated process that will export all "Suggested Contacts" (Auto-Complete List) from Outlook for Mac. These are the email addresses that appear as suggestions when I start typing in the "To" field, even though they aren’t saved in my Contacts folder.
Project Details:
Platform: Microsoft Outlook for Mac (O365).
Objective: Develop a solution (script, or other automation process) that can extract the Auto-Complete List and save these email addresses as contacts in either a CSV file or directly in my Outlook Contacts.
Requirements: Proven experience working with Outlook on macOS, including proficiency with AppleScript, Outlook APIs, or similar tools. Ability to automate the process to run reliably on Outlook for Mac and export all suggested contacts. Familiarity with exporting data in standard formats (CSV, Excel) or adding data directly to Outlook Contacts on macOS. (Optional) Familiarity with iCloud and Gmail contact exports, as I may want to integrate these contacts in the future.
Deliverables:
A script, piece of code, or automated process to export the Suggested Contacts (Auto-Complete List) from Outlook for Mac to a CSV file or directly to my Contacts. Documentation and usage instructions to run the process on my system, including any dependencies or setup requirements.
Additional Information:
I have attempted several AppleScript methods without success, so I need a more reliable, custom solution. Open to third-party tools or libraries if necessary, as long as they are compatible with macOS and safe for use with Microsoft 365.
How to Apply: Please share a brief summary of your experience with Outlook for Mac, particularly in accessing Auto-Complete or Suggested Contacts. Include a brief description of your proposed approach to this project, if possible.
