Need MICROSOFT WORD EXPERT WHO KNOWS IT LIKE BREATHING.

Im using 14.7.7 Word. I am also using an older Macbook Pro with Compact Flash Drive. I have almost 1000 Word files in it. When I search my files, I get a photo of them as if they are gone. Yet, I never got rid of them. Please see my screenshots of what I am speaking about. When I click the first screenshot, you will see how many files I have. When I get into the list, many have a title but whose image is missing. When I click into that, I get Word is unable to find the document. I never got rid of my documents. Can you help me find them or recover them? That is what I need. An expert to help me go beyond my own knowledge and find these files.
