Convert .dict Files for Apple Dictionary

I have .dict files that I would like to convert into a format compatible with the Apple Dictionary app on my Mac, using the Apple Dictionary Development Kit. The .dict files are in their original format and do not contain any multimedia elements. Obviously I'd like to retain all the information in the word definitions, including etymology and stuff.
