Applescript to create and file PDFs base on filenames
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
We have an existing AppleScript that no longer works since Mojave. Happy to have the existing script updated, or maybe a newer more efficient script created.
Here is what the script does:
1. Check for mounted share points, if they aren't mounted then it will mount them
2. Make sure required applications are open
3. Check a hot folder for InDesign files
4. Open InDesign file in InDesign Server and export a high res and a low res version
5. Append each with _LR or _HR depending on if high res or low res
6. Send a _HR version to an FTP folder that is mounted as a share point
7. File the _LR and _HR PDF to the relevant locations based on the filename
As I say we have been using a script to do this for many years, but since Mojave the script has broken when it has to add the _LR/_HR to the PDF filename.
I would prefer if we can modify the existing script to work in Big Sur if possible.
