audio and signal processing ML project

I need someone to be expert in ML and signal processing. There is an open source code in GitHub, and I would need help understanding it. More specifically, I need to understand the sound classification part and how can I reuse it. I already have expirenace in ML, but I'm having some problems in this code as it is in C.
