Smart Traffic management system
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
The main objective of the project is to reduce traffic congestion. The aim is to design a dynamic
and efficient traffic light scheduling algorithm that adjusts the best green phase time of each
traffic flow, based on the real-time traffic distribution around the signalized road intersection. In
addition, this project also considers the following subtask:
• To design a software to reduce the wait time of pedestrians by using a certain average
population density at the crossing.
• To provide alternative routes via panels along the road.
• To design a real-time traffic rule violation detection system that will be able to capture
more than one violation simultaneously.
• To design an emergency vehicle priority system.
• Making the system all weather-friendly (Like foggy weather).

SUMO(Simulation of Urban MObility) has to be used for testing
