Predictive Modeling for Agriculture Irrigation

I am searching for a skilled machine learning specialist to assist with predictive modeling in the precision agriculture industry. Specifically, the goal is to predict soil moisture content from remote sensed data.
Key tasks include:
- Development of ML algorithms for predicting soil moisture content.
- Application of these predictive models within an agricultural setting
Ideally, the candidate will have prior experience in machine learning, predictive modelling, and understand the context of precision agriculture. Prior work in environmental science would be a plus. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities are a must, with the ability to interpret complex data in a clear and succinct manner. Knowledge in image recognition and NLP would be a bonus, but not necessary for this project.
