I am looking for an experienced AI/ML developer with expertise in data extraction, financial modeling, and automation to help build a cutting-edge Financial Modeling & Valuation Automation Platform. This platform will extract financial data, automate model building, and streamline valuation calculations to improve efficiency and accuracy in investment analysis.

As a finance professional, I have a strong background in financial modeling, economic analysis, and valuation techniques. However, I am not a technical expert, so I need a skilled developer who can translate my vision into a fully functional, AI-powered automation tool.

At this stage, the platform will focus on three core functionalities:
1. Data Extraction – Automatically pulling financial data from various sources.
2. Automated Financial Model Building – Structuring financial statements and projections.
3. Valuation Process Automation – Implementing AI-driven valuation methodologies.

Future expansions will include AI-assisted research report generation, but for now, the focus is on data extraction, model creation, and valuation automation.



Key Requirements:
1. Data Extraction Module
• Automated web scraping & API integration to fetch financial statements, stock prices, and macroeconomic data from sources like:
• SEC (EDGAR), NSE/BSE, Yahoo Finance, Bloomberg, Reuters, and other financial databases.
• Company websites and filings (annual reports, investor presentations).
• AI-based data structuring – The extracted data should be cleaned, categorized, and structured into usable formats.
• Real-time updates & scheduled data fetching – The system should be able to fetch data at regular intervals.
• CSV, Excel, and Database export compatibility – Users should be able to export extracted data.

2. Automated Financial Model Building
• AI-driven automation to structure financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Ability to automatically populate models with historical data and project future values based on pre-set financial assumptions.
• Scenario analysis & sensitivity testing – Users should be able to adjust assumptions (growth rates, discount rates, risk factors) and see the impact on the financial model.
• Integration with Excel & Google Sheets – The platform should allow seamless export/import of models for further customization.

3. AI-Powered Valuation Automation
• Implement automated valuation models such as:
• DCF (Discounted Cash Flow) Valuation
• Comparable Company Analysis (CCA)
• Precedent Transaction Analysis (PTA)
• Dividend Discount Model (DDM)
• The AI should be able to fetch relevant market multiples, risk-free rates, and industry benchmarks to automate the valuation process.
• Automated report generation – The system should generate a summary of valuation results with key assumptions and findings.



Technical Requirements:
• Preferred programming languages: Python, R, or any relevant AI/ML framework.
• Web scraping tools: BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or API integrations.
• Machine Learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Database & Storage: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL solutions.
• Front-end (optional at this stage): A simple UI/dashboard for inputting assumptions and generating outputs.


Ideal Candidate:
• Strong background in AI/ML, data extraction, and financial analytics.
• Experience with automating financial models & valuation methodologies.
• Ability to develop a scalable and efficient back-end for data processing.
• Prior experience in fintech, investment research automation, or financial modeling software development is a plus.

• Phase 2: Automated Financial Model Building (4-6 weeks)
• Phase 3: AI-Powered Valuation System (4-6 weeks)
