AI Partner for Industrial Automation -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m assembling a long-term partnership with an engineer who lives and breathes AI. My company is in a strong growth phase and we have a roadmap of initiatives ahead, but the starting point is clear: I need to automate a manufacturing / operations workflow that is still handled manually today.
You’ll take ownership of the full solution lifecycle—data engineering, model design (machine learning, deep learning or whatever technique best fits), rapid prototyping, and production deployment. Whether the final model relies on computer vision, reinforcement learning, classic predictive analytics, or a clever combination, I’m open, as long as it meets the performance targets we set together and is robust enough for a plant-floor environment.
Clear, timely communication and reliability are non-negotiable. I value partners who keep learning, document their work, and are comfortable iterating quickly from proof-of-concept to production. Expect candid feedback, defined acceptance criteria, and the freedom to experiment with modern toolchains (Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, MLflow, Docker/Kubernetes—use what you think works).
If you’re looking for more than a one-off gig and want to co-create impactful AI systems, let’s talk through the manufacturing use case and map out the milestones.
