I'm in need of a data professional to help with the creation of multiple datasets consisting of medical images, specifically from a microscope. The project also involves training an AI model with this dataset.
We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer to help us with an exciting AI project focused on medical image analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in collecting and processing large image datasets, augmenting data to improve model performance, and developing robust AI models for image classification and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection: Collect medical images from public sources that are relevant to our project (peripheral blood smears and other biological samples. comprehensive list to be provided by us).
Data Processing: Preprocess and organize images for training, ensuring they are in the right format and quality.
Data Augmentation: Apply techniques such as flipping, rotation, scaling, and other transformations to increase dataset variability and model robustness.
Label Encoding: Utilize categorical encoding for categorical fields and binary encoding for boolean fields to prepare labels for model training.
Dataset Preparation: Prepare a total of 1600 diverse datasets, ensuring quality and variety in the samples for robust model training.
Model Development: Build, train, and optimize AI models to classify and analyze images as required by our specifications.
Source Code & Documentation: Provide all developed models, datasets, source code, and relevant documentation upon project completion.
Qualifications:
Strong experience in Python, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch for deep learning.
Proficiency in image processing techniques and libraries (e.g., OpenCV, PIL).
Experience in data augmentation and handling various image formats.
Background in labeling and encoding data for machine learning purposes.
Prior work with medical or biological image datasets is a plus.
Deliverables:
1600 prepared datasets with augmented and labeled images suitable for AI model training.
Trained AI models for image classification/analysis, delivered with source code and a detailed explanation of the approach and techniques used.
All scripts and code used for data collection, processing, and model development, ensuring reproducibility and easy integration into our platform.
