AI Challenge: developing an algorithm for a high-beam lighting system that uses a pixel matrix. -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Participants will work on an adaptive high-beam system using a pixel matrix. The core objectives include:
Detecting objects from images captured in front of the vehicle.
Mapping the detected object's exact position on the pixel matrix.
Adjusting the lighting system's pixels according to the mapped regions.
The result? A lighting system that only dims where objects are detected, ensuring optimal illumination everywhere else.
Challenge Structure:
Level 1: Access to initial materials, an On-board Test for hardware compatibility, followed by a KPIs Test and an Evaluation Test. Register via this Upwork posting and receive a $20 bonus upon registration! (Note: This bonus is provided only when a model application is submitted).
Level 2: Participants, post signing an NDA due to data sensitivity, are granted access to step 2 materials. This level also includes the three-tiered testing sequence.
Level 3: Successful participants from step 2 get access to Step 3 materials and undergo the testing phases.
The total prize is $25,000
Platform: The competition is hosted on DataSource, an AI crowdsourced datathon platform. All details, datasets, and guidelines will be available there.
