I’m enhancing my existing Android app with an AI-powered feature that can generate smart, real-time routes for users. The core requirement is a self-contained module (Java or Kotlin) that takes a set of waypoints plus live constraints—traffic, distance, user preferences—and returns the most efficient path within milliseconds.

You’ll design the model or algorithm, handle the data ingestion (maps SDK, traffic feeds, user inputs), and expose clean, well-documented functions that my front-end can call. Accuracy, speed, and low battery impact are all priorities, so please factor in on-device optimisation techniques or lightweight cloud calls where truly necessary.

I’ll consider the task complete when I can drop your module into my Android project, feed it sample coordinates, and consistently receive an optimal route that matches or improves upon Google Maps suggestions in test scenarios.
