Remote LuaU/Roblox Tutor Needed for Teen Developer
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I am seeking an experienced LuaU tutor to guide my 15-year-old son in learning LuaU/Roblox game development. He is an avid Roblox player currently enrolled in an online college for Computer Applications. Apart from playing, his experience extends to testing others' Roblox games, moderating for certain Discord channels and Roblox games, and creating content on his Roblox-dedicated YouTube channel, which has garnered a considerable following.
Responsibilities:
Provide structured, one-on-one LuaU tutoring sessions tailored to my son's current understanding level and future objectives.
Support him in learning to design and construct his own Roblox games using LuaU.
Develop a comprehensive study plan to keep him motivated and challenged.
Offer constructive feedback and guidance on his game development projects.
Be available for regular, scheduled tutoring sessions (the exact frequency and schedule to be discussed).
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of the LuaU scripting language.
Previous experience with Roblox game development.
Prior tutoring or teaching experience is highly desirable.
Ability to explain complex concepts in a manner that a teenager can easily comprehend.
English fluency.
Patience, professionalism, and a passion for teaching.
Preferred (but not required):
Familiarity with other aspects of Roblox, such as game moderation and testing.
Experience with online teaching tools and platforms.
