I'm looking for a mechanical engineering expert to take on a multi-faceted project involving cycloidal gear design and Lua scripting. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating a detailed, functionally accurate cycloidal gear profile, considering the following parameters: number of teeth, module, pressure angle, dedendum, face width, backlash, addendum radius, and height.
- Developing a robust Lua script underpinning the functionality of the gear, as well as handling subsequent mechanical tasks.
For this project, proficiency in Lua scripting is essential. Advanced knowledge in mechanical engineering, specifically focused on gear design aspects, is crucial.
