After Effects to Json and Lottie Conversion

Job ID: 40465514

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I have a collection of free After Effects templates—animations, text effects, and transitions—that I need converted into clean, well-structured Lottie JSON files. Every element has to come across exactly as it does in AE: timing, easing, masks, mattes, the lot.

You will be working inside Adobe After Effects, exporting through Bodymovin (or a workflow you prefer) and then refining the JSON so it matches the official Lottie schema. I’ll supply reference documentation for the schema along with the original .aep files and any footage or fonts they rely on.

The end result I’m looking for is a set of reusable, plug-and-play JSON templates that render flawlessly in Lottie previewers and on web/mobile. If a template contains multiple animation variants or color controls, keep those options exposed in the exported JSON. File sizes should stay lean; trim hidden layers and unused assets wherever possible without sacrificing visual fidelity.

Deliverables
• One Lottie-compliant .json file for each supplied AE template
• Any accompanying assets (images, fonts) neatly organised and referenced
• A brief read-me noting version of AE used and any limitations or tweaks applied

I’ll test each file in the latest Lottie Web and iOS players; if it plays back exactly like the original comp and passes their validators, we’re good. Looking forward to seeing how you streamline this pipeline.
