LoRa Hardware Engineer for Wearable Device
Budget: $25 – $100 USD
We're developing a compact wearable device with integrated LoRa communication and are seeking a highly skilled hardware engineer to join our project. The primary focus is on power optimization, ensuring the device is efficient and effective in its functionality.
Key Requirements:
- Expert-level proficiency in LoRa module integration, particularly with Semtech-class transceivers.
- Strong experience in low-power RF hardware design.
- Expertise in antenna tuning and placement within space-constrained environments.
- Proven ability to integrate with BLE/MCU systems.
- Familiarity with the unique constraints of wearable design, including power, thermal management, and form factor.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working with smartwatches or other small-form wearables.
Deliverables:
- Provide schematic and Bill of Materials (BOM) guidance.
- Offer antenna recommendations and tuning support.
- Develop power optimization strategies.
- Consultation for manufacturing-ready hardware.
This is a 4–6 week engagement aimed at supporting the development of a functional prototype. The budget will be determined based on experience and availability. If you have the expertise and are ready to contribute to an innovative wearable project, I look forward to your bid.
