raster logo converted and/or recreated to vector image

We had a graphic artist design a logo for us. The artist is specifically and solely trained in raster artwork. I need a logo that is high quality and in vector format.
I have attached the original psd artwork from the artist and a cropped version as well. The cropped version was created by me.The only change to cropped version was to crop the content.
