creating a logo

I am looking for someone to create a logo for me. It should be a combination logo, meaning that it should include both a text-based element and an icon-based element. I'm open to anything in terms of colour palette, so the designer can have creative freedom when it comes to choosing the right colour scheme. I do not have any vector formats of any existing logos that might be used as a starting point.
