create a logo

I'm starting a small textile production line and would like to create a suitable logo for it. The name of the brand is ALDAL. However the letter 'D' will be written in Arabic. I like the calligraphy style and had in mind that we can embed that within the logo itself. Not sure if we also need to create an icon possibly. I am interested in getting the logo design + a concise playbook / guideline that will mainly cover the brand colors, template, logo usage etc.
