anniversary branding for company logo

I am looking to create a special edition logo for a limited time in order to celebrate our company's 15 year anniversary. I have a clear vision for how the anniversary branding should be incorporated into the current logo. Specifically, I would like to integrate the anniversary elements into the existing design but change colors and give it a bold and "out there" look. This should be done in a way that pays homage to our company's milestone, while also creating something bold and eye-catching. I am open to creative solutions that will help me achieve my anniversary branding goals! The red logo attached is our current logo, and the black/gold logo attached is what we are going for.
