I WANT TO IMPROVE MY LOGO
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
Hello.
I have this logo (current logos 1, 2 and 3) designed for a political movement in Portugal called "Reconquista".
I like the logo overall, its simple and clean but it has various problems
1 - I dont like the font
2 - I dont like where the word is placed
3 - I dont like the phoenix format, it can be mistaken for an eagle
4 - I dont think the logo portrays enough strength
5 - I dont like the design of the lines
My vision for this movement is it will become a mass youth political revolutionary, futurist and modern movement, focused on values like patriotism and catholicism (portuguese religion).
I want the logo to be bold but at the same time timeless; strong but at the same time inviting.
The most important colours are: red, white, blue and black. You can try any variant within these colour scheme that works but I would like it to be either black white and red or white blue and red.
I would like it for the words and overall design to be done in such a way that people can recognise the logo even with only 1 element, either just the words or the logo without the words. Think of Nike and Adidas; brands that can be recognized without the words, just for the logo.
I have attached 2 logos as inspiration.
"Inspiration logo": I love it because of the colours, the design of the lines and the design of the letters.
"Old inspiration": This is an old patriotic flag from the early 20th century in Portugal, representing a movement that shares a lot of my tenets. For that reason I would like to have an element that can be associated (indirectly) with that flag and corresponding movement.
To conclude, there are also 4 principles I would like my logo to have:
1 - It has to be a circle (but happy to get different suggestions)
2 - There has to be a phoenix in it (strong but modern)
3 - The word "Reconquista" has to be in it somewhere
4 - If the logo is a circle I would like it to have "2 circles" like the logo in "inspiration logo"
