Small Farm Branding and Logo
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a logo design for our new farm business. I have several ideas but not sure which style I want to go with. I'd like to see all 3 before I decide. Once the logo is chosen, I'd like the various elements of the logo (i.e. farm name, frame, artwork, etc...) to be in individual .png format with a transparent background so that I can use them to design various marketing materials with those elements incorporated in multiple ways. The quality needs to be high enough for large format printing (signs and banners) as well as digital uses.
Our farm is called Firebug Farm. It is a play on words as our farm is well known for our beautiful show of fireflies each summer and my husband is a Firefighter whose nickname is Firebug. The three main ideas that I have for the logo design are:
1) a simple cartoon-like firefly character with a fire helmet on that is holding and smelling a beautiful bouquet of flowers and the farm name done in a whimsical, elegant font that is easy to read. I prefer watercolor styling but would consider other options.
2) Round frame with a spray of watercolor flowers in the bottom right corner and the farm name within the circle. Possibly a small, whimsical firefly (abstract rather than cartoon) on one of the flowers. Elegant styling. Transparent background.
3) A dark background (nighttime), possibly with rough edges, with a grouping of small glowing dots that represent the fireflies hovering over a row of beautiful flowers that are illuminated in the light from the fireflies. Possibly a glowing moon in the background over a rolling pasture with a couple of trees. Farm name in white or a light color that matches the "glowing" effect of the fireflies, above the firefly scene but below the moon.
Except for the third idea, I prefer a medium sage green for the farm name. I prefer to keep the colors of the flowers in shades of pink, purple, and yellow. I love the look of eucalyptus as a filler in the bouquets. I've uploaded examples of the styles and colors of flowers that I like.
