Realistic Dad Portrait on Court
Budget: $10 – $300 AUD
Hi,
I’m looking to commission a custom A3 portrait as a meaningful birthday gift for my dad, who is turning 49.
When he was younger, his dream was to become a professional basketball player — he was incredibly talented, but he gave up that dream to take over his father’s business. He’s always been a huge Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls fan, and still plays basketball weekly to this day. He also made sure I could follow my dreams so I want to create a portrait that honours his dream — and everything he gave up to support ours.
Here’s what I’m after for the artwork:
* My dad is shown in mid-air doing a slam dunk on the official Chicago Bulls court, styled like the classic Michael Jordan free-throw dunk.
* He’s wearing a #23 Chicago Bulls jersey, but the face should clearly look like him — confident, athletic, recognisable.
* In the background/courtside/bleachers are our 9 family members cheering him on:
* His parents
* His wife
* His brother and his brother’s wife and their two kids
* Me (his eldest daughter) and my little brother
* Me and my brother are holding up a sign above our heads that says: “GO DAD!!”
* I’d love a visible scoreboard with: ➤ Bulls 98 – Opponent 96 | 4th Quarter | 8 seconds remaining
* The tone should celebrate a dream coming true, even if only symbolically.
I’d love to receive it by the 28th of July 2025. I can send over reference photos of him and each family member (and the composition mockup I’ve already generated).
