Need a creative App and Website LOGO and ICON designed picturing a Classic Character
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Hello,
We are building a serious stocks trading application that focuses on financial safety, risk management, user education and user friendliness.
Our tagline is: Protect, Enhance, Trade.
We need a set of logos built that would work across all properties and marketing material:
- Mobile app icon
- Website icon with banner and app name
- A very large version of the main logo (doesn't have to be same as the icon), but must look like it, so that people associate it to the app icon.
(we can start with just one of these to approve it first, and then complete the other two based on the first one)
The Logo needs to be based on a Robin Hood character named: Friar Tuck, who is a wise, bald old man, and a guide and mentor to his friends, but we don't want him to look goofy. We want the logo to be stylish, unique, artistic, instantly recognizable, but also modern at the same time, and to stand out on a device desktop using the best colors possible to get that done. At the same time, it needs to be simple enough.

Refer to the attached image, for a placeholder sample we came up with ourselves.
The main focus is to make the logo / icon look amazing. To make our character come to life, and to tell anyone who sees it that: This Guy is Bad Ass!. This guy knows what he's doing, and will help you out if you let him share his wisdom with you.
Please first propose what you have in mind, and how your idea will stand out, along with your bid. We also will first review the work you have done before. We are looking for a real artist with creativity who can come up with something unique, memorable and strong as a logo and brand - using this classic character.
For deliverables, each asset has to be delivered in high resolution: 2500 x 2500, and we want to get the original photoshop or sketch files so we can modify them if we need to.
Along with the icon and logo, please also suggest the style for the font and the name of the app as well that matches the logo in the best way possible.
